Big Bang's Taeyang debuts in Japan

Taeyang of the boy-group Big Bang is pictured on a poster announcing the schedule for upcoming tests administered by the Japan Street Dance Association.

Taeyang of the five-member boy band Big Bang showed off his groovy dance moves in a Japanese ad, his talent agency YG Entertainment said Wednesday.

This is the first time that the singer has appeared solo in an ad for the Japan Street Dance Association (JSDA), without the other members of G-Dragon, T.O.P, Daesung and Seungri.

The JSDA was established in 2001 to promote the culture of dance, and the association officials were impressed by Taeyang’s moves during Big Bang’s world tour last year.

The JSCA advertisement will grace the large screens in the neighborhood near Shibuya Station in Tokyo, Nagoya Station in Nagoya and at Osaka Shinsiahbashi.

The ad was filmed around the middle of April in Tokyo.
